Kamran Parsa

Kamran is an assistant director and theater actor with the Tehran Theater Group, as well as a television presenter and puppeteer. Born in Tehran, he earned his bachelor’s degree in music with a focus on classical singing and saxophone. Despite significant visual and physical limitations, Kamran has never given up his passion for the arts and is tirelessly committed to it.

Kamran made his theater debut in 2022 at Vienna’s “Akzent Theater” with the play “The Dreams of the Brown Sofa,” written and directed by Maryam Roozbehaneh, together with the theater group “Lotus” (now the Tehran Theater Group). He currently works as an assistant director and actor with the Tehran Theater Group.

Kamran has collaborated with renowned conductors and composers such as Ali Rahbari, Thomas Caplin, Ahmad Pezhman, Shahrdad Rohani, Homayoun Shajarian, Mahyar Alizadeh, Hamidreza Dibazar, Alireza Ghamsari, and Armin Gheytasi. From 2011 to 2017, he was a soloist and chorister (tenor) in the Tehran Symphony Orchestra Choir, the Tehran Vocal Ensemble (Vocapella), and the University of Tehran Choir. During this time, he performed in numerous concerts and international competitions in various countries.

Kamran has taught singing at prestigious academies and participated in many international music festivals and competitions, such as Germany Interkultur, where he won gold, silver, and bronze medals as a soloist and chorister.
